Mama Gah Hobor 1 Supports Over 500 School Girls with Sanitary Pads*

The Ewe’s Queen Mother for the Hobor Electoral Area, Mama Gah Hobor 1, has supported over 500 school girls in the community with sanitary pads as part of efforts to promote menstrual hygiene and keep girls in school. Mama Gah Hobor 1 disclosed that the initiative was carried out in collaboration with nurses and health workers from Hobor, who provided the sanitary pads for distribution to the beneficiaries. She said all the over 500 school girls who benefited received sanitary pads. According to Mama Gah Hobor 1, there is still more room for improvement, as she has many initiatives she wishes to undertake to support girls, women and the wider community. She appealed to individuals, organisations and other stakeholders to support her with the needed resources to enable her to carry out more programmes for the benefit of the people of Hobor.
