GHANA’S INFLATION HAS DECLINED FROM 24% TO 5% — MR. SAMSON ANOMAH
Economist Mr. Samson Anomah has stated that Ghana’s inflation rate has declined from 24 per cent to 6 per cent, while the exchange rate has reportedly improved from GH¢14 to GH¢11 to the US dollar. Speaking to Journalist Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi, Mr. Anomah argued that the figures indicate improvements in some economic indicators, although he maintained that the true state of the economy must be assessed against the actual cost of goods and services.
