During an exclusive interview on Scoreboard on ICAD TV, spiritualist and football administrator Sheike Osmani Sani shed light on the complex intersection of faith and sports, addressing the recent wave of World Cup prophecies. He explained that spirituality in football often involves deeply personal rituals, noting that "there's God in football because even the Bible says ask and it shall be given to you."

While acknowledging that these spiritual declarations can heavily encourage players, Sani cautioned against the presumption of assuming every divine revelation is guaranteed, stressing that pastors must truly know God before attempting to speak on His behalf and understanding that trials will definitely come.
The discussion talked about famous false prophecies, one example was a failed World Cup prediction by Adom Kyei-Dua. This failure led to public arguments between him and Opambour.

Addressing whether such failures invalidate a spiritual leader, Sani offered a realistic defense, comparing the divine calling to the medical profession. He stated that,"a doctor can perform a surgery successfully yet God may still take the patient's life; that does not mean he is not a skilled doctor". He urged that spiritual leaders should have patience when disagreement arises, reminding viewers that a past successful prophecy proves a genuine gift, and noted that he had personally experienced similar prophetic hurdles in his own journey.

Concluding his insights, Sani advised that spiritual strategies and predictions in high-stakes environments like football should ideally remain confidential. He warned that publicizing every vision creates vulnerabilities, explaining that opposing camps engaged in their own spiritual warfare will actively rise against a prophecy if they know its details, effectively working to ensure it does not come to pass.
