Asante Kotoko Sports Club Global Supporters First Vice Chairman Emmanuel Boamah has expressed confidence ahead of their upcoming league clash against Aduana Stars FC in Dormaa this Sunday.
Speaking in a phone-in interview on ICAD TV Sports Scoreboard with Paul Napoleon Agyemang, Boamah called for unity and strong support from fans, urging them to keep faith in the team ahead of the difficult away fixture.
He stressed that Kotoko have the quality to compete strongly and are not intimidated by Aduana Stars, noting that the team remains focused on improving performance and securing positive results.
Boamah also revealed that a recent visit by club board members has boosted morale and motivated the playing body ahead of the match.
On club administration, he said the Kotoko Sports Club CEO position remains open for qualified candidates as the club seeks strong leadership. He added that discussions are ongoing to unite global supporters and strengthen the club’s structure.
He further noted that Kotoko officials have not yet visited the newly appointed Sports Minister due to internal commitments but will do so at the appropriate time.
The interview highlighted growing confidence and unity within the Kotoko camp as they prepare for a crucial league encounter in Dormaa.
