ICAD TV EASTERN REGIONAL REPORTER OSOFOBA ENOCH SPEAKS ON THE ARREST OF SUSPECT IN OKORASE

Speaking by phone on ICAD TV's Ghana Nti Morning Show with Nana Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi, ICAD TV Eastern Regional Reporter Osofoba Enoch discussed the arrest of Isaac Anim, a 22-year-old suspect arrested by the Eastern Regional Police Command over alleged robbery, assault, and rape cases in Okorase, near Koforidua. According to Osofoba Enoch, the suspect allegedly robbed female victims of their phones and money before sexually assaulting them. He noted that the suspect reportedly replaced victims' SIM cards with his own, believing the stolen phones could not be traced. However, police were able to track the devices, leading to his arrest. The suspect has been handed over to the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) for further investigations into the case. Police say additional offences have also been linked to him. The suspect remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
