Hon. Moses Kubi Ocansey Presents Executive Committee Report to Ga South General Assembly

Hon. Moses Kubi Ocansey, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Ga South Municipal Assembly, briefed the Hon. General Assembly on matters considered by the Executive Committee at its meetings held on the 27th and 28th. The report covered key issues relating to budgeting, policies, administrative directions, development planning, and other matters affecting the Municipality. The Executive Committee presented its recommendations to the Hon. House for consideration in accordance with Section 19 of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936). Among the key recommendations was the need for the Assembly's Administration to prepare the 2026 Budget for consideration and approval by the General Assembly. The Executive Committee also recommended that provision be made in the Municipality's 2027 and 2028 Annual Action Plans and Budgets for the construction of two fire stations. The proposed fire stations are expected to strengthen fire prevention, emergency response, and public safety within the Ga South Municipality. The report was subsequently submitted to the Hon.
