Hobor Asafoaye Appeals for Action Against Land Guards.*

The Asafoaye and Helper for the Hobor Electoral Area, Mama Gah Hobor 1, has appealed to the relevant authorities to take urgent action to address alleged land guard activities in the community. According to her, land guards have been causing serious disturbances in the community. She disclosed that four days ago, her brother went to undertake carpentry work when some alleged land guards appeared at the location and allegedly assaulted him. She said the family was called to the scene, but before they arrived, the alleged land guards had left. She subsequently contacted the Assemblyman and informed him about what had happened. When they returned to the area, the alleged land guards could not be found. She further alleged that the owner of a house, his wife and a tenant's wife were also assaulted during the incident. The victims were taken to the hospital for medical treatment and medical reports, while the police were also involved. The Asafoaye has therefore appealed to the authorities and community leaders to intervene and ensure that alleged land guard activities are brought under control to protect residents and maintain peace in the Hobor community. *Reported by Nana Kwasi Enyan | ICAD TV*
