Musah Danquah is the founder and Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, a prominent Ghanaian research, data science, and public opinion polling firm. The company has become a central player in Ghana's political landscape, widely recognized for its national election forecasting, corporate market research, and socio-economic trend analysis. During a phone interview with Nana Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi on the Ghana Nti Morning Show, he stated that there is a growing preference among Ghanaians for the NDC to come to power instead of the NPP. Musah Danquah stated that the polling gap between Ato Forson and Bawumia in 2026 is far bigger than the gap that previously existed between President Mahama and Hon. Bawumia. Ato Forson polls around 57.5%, while Hon. Bawumia stands at 35.3%. Part of the reduction in Hon. Bawumia's vote share is attributed to Kennedy Agyapong, who captures 5%. If Ato Forson is replaced with Asiedu Nketiah, Asiedu Nketiah secures 54% while Bawumia gets 37%. Meaning the NDC still maintains the lead. However, in a matchup featuring Hon. Julius Debrah and Hon. Bawumia, Hon. Julius Debrah polls 40% while Hon. Bawumia leads slightly with 41%. Additionally, Hon. Bawumia leads candidates such as Joshua Alabi and Eric Opoku by a wide margin. Explaining the polling methodology, Danquah noted that opinion polls involve randomly selecting individuals and asking them questions to gather their honest opinions. He concluded by stating that opinion polls are predictions, not prophecies. They change from time to time, so if a prediction does not come to pass, the public should not blame pollsters.
