POLITICAL ANALYST NANA PIESIE ANTO ATTACKS CLOGSAG FOR POLITICIZING STRIKE ISSUES
Political analyst Nana Piesie Anto has taken a swipe at the Civil and Local Government Staff Association Ghana (CLOGSAG), accusing the association of politicizing its strike actions and unfairly targeting the current administration over issues that date back to 2019.
Speaking on the ICAD TV Morning Show (Ghana Nti) hosted by Nana Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi, he argued that the concerns being raised by the association did not start today.
According to him, if CLOGSAG believed there was a serious problem, they should have gone on strike long ago instead of remaining silent for years and now directing their anger at the current president.
He stressed that labour unions must be consistent, fair, and avoid politicizing labour issues, adding that national development requires responsibility from institutions, leaders, and citizens alike. He concluded.
