NHYIRABA KWABENA ASIRIFI CRITICISES SCHOOL FEEDING PROGRAMME OVER PAYMENT CONCERNS
Journalist Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi has criticised the management of Ghana’s School Feeding Programme, raising concerns about the treatment of caterers and the political considerations surrounding payments.
According to him, some of the people involved in the programme are supporters and foot soldiers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and he believes they should receive the payments owed to them.
He questioned why individuals who may have supported the party should face difficulties receiving payments for services rendered under the programme.
His comments have brought attention to concerns about payment delays, the welfare of school feeding caterers, and the need for transparency in the administration of the programme.
The School Feeding Programme plays an important role in providing meals to schoolchildren and supporting their participation in basic education. Ensuring that caterers are paid on time is essential to maintaining the programme and protecting the interests of the children who depend on it.
However, any claims about political affiliation and outstanding payments require verification from the relevant authorities.
