MCE GEORGE KPAKPO ALLOTEY DISTRIBUTES EQUIPMENT AND CASH TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN ABLEKUMA WEST

The Ablekuma West Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), George Kpakpo Allotey, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare, distributed equipment and cash support to persons with disabilities during a special community program. The items and support provided included: Fufu pounding machines Refrigerators Other small-business tools Cash to help start or expand income-generating activities MCE George Kpakpo Allotey explained that the aim of the program is to help persons with disabilities become financially independent. He said that providing both equipment and cash enables beneficiaries to work, earn income, and support their families. The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West also attended the event to show support for the initiative. The program highlighted the municipality’s commitment to empowering residents, promoting inclusive development, and improving livelihoods in Ablekuma West, ensuring that persons with disabilities are not left behind.
