Hon. Isaac Awuku Yibor Calls for Expressway Route to Pass Through Hobor*

Hon. Isaac Awuku Yibor, Member of Parliament for the Obom Domeabra Constituency, has raised concerns over the proposed route for the Accra–Kumasi Expressway. According to the MP, the original plan was for the expressway to pass through the Adeiso–Nsawam corridor. He stated that Cabinet later considered a route through Ablekuma–Manhean–Afuaman–Ashalaja, which he believes should also extend through Hobor Township. Hon. Isaac Awuku Yibor further expressed concern about the current direction of the proposed expressway, saying the new alignment passes behind Hobor Township and extends towards Nusobri, affecting areas within the constituency.
