FAILED SECURITY SERVICE APPLICANT SHARES CONCERNS OVER RECRUITMENT PROCESS ON ICAD TV

A victim who failed the security service aptitude test has raised concerns about the recruitment process during an appearance on the Ghana Nti on ICAD TV, hosted by Nana Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi. The applicant, whose name was withheld for security reasons, said he purchased four recruitment forms for different security services but wrote only one aptitude test. According to him, he was later informed that he had failed all four applications, even though he had not seen his examination results. He questioned how he could fail all the applications when the candidates reportedly wrote only one examination for all the services. The applicant further alleged that candidates who pass the aptitude test and are invited for medical examinations are sometimes asked to pay an amount based on the number of forms purchased. According to him, this means a candidate who bought four forms would be required to pay four different medical fees, despite sitting for a single examination. He described the situation as worrying and called for clarification on the process. The applicant also claimed that about 95 percent of applicants were said to have failed the aptitude test, raising concerns among many candidates. He therefore appealed to John Dramani Mahama to intervene and help address the concerns of applicants who believe the process may not have been fair.
