EDUCATIONALIST RAISES CONCERNS OVER SEXUAL ABUSE AND WEAK DETERRENCE
Educationalist Mr Samuel Obimpah has expressed concern about the continued threat of sexual abuse against children, calling for stronger enforcement of laws to protect vulnerable persons.
Speaking during an interview with Journalist Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi, Mr Obimpah argued that existing measures should effectively deter individuals who commit sexual offences.
He suggested that public education and stronger penalties could help discourage such acts. He also questioned whether current approaches were sufficient to prevent offenders from repeating their actions.
Mr Obimpah urged stakeholders to prioritise child safety, accountability and effective enforcement of the law.
