DOMINIC FRIMPONG'S FATHER CALLS FOR THOROUGH INVESTIGATION INTO HIS SON'S DEATH

The father of late footballer Dominic Frimpong, Nana Frimpong, has called on the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and the relevant authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his son’s death. According to Nana Frimpong, he has personally conducted inquiries into his son’s death and believes there are unanswered questions that require further investigation. He alleged that Berekum Chelsea may have information relevant to the case, claiming that none of the other players appeared to have sustained injuries during the incident apart from his son. He further alleged that his son’s death may have been connected to a suspected ritual sacrifice. However, these claims have not been independently established. Nana Frimpong also alleged that there were no visible signs of gunshot wounds on his son’s body. He claimed that his son had injuries to his forehead and the back of his neck. He expressed concern that, apart from supporters of Berekum Chelsea, no players from the club attended his son’s funeral. The grieving father further alleged that he wants to see the team bus and the location where the incident occurred and the armed robbers and his son’s missing phone. He is therefore appealing to the media to help draw attention to the case and support his call for justice for his late son, Dominic Frimpong. Nana Frimpong concluded by appealing to the government and the IGP to intervene and ensure that the circumstances surrounding his son’s death are thoroughly investigated. He said that if the authorities fail to assist, he would leave the matter in the hands of God. He also revealed that his son had previously been advised to reconsider joining the team, but he did not heed the advice. He said all these during an interview with Paul Napoleon Agyeman - Scoreboard Host .
