THE DOWNFALL OF A MAN IS NOT THE END OF HIS LIFE – AMIN RAMADAN, VISION FC GENERAL MANAGER
Vision FC General Manager Amin Ramadan has stated that the club’s defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak was partly due to internal issues that needed to be addressed.
Speaking after the match, Ramadan stressed that setbacks should not be seen as the end of the road, describing defeat as part of football.
“The downfall of a man is not the end of his life. It is part of the game,” he said.
Ramadan also praised Accra Hearts of Oak for their performance, acknowledging that the Phobians deserved credit for demonstrating maturity during the encounter. He further described Hearts of Oak as a traditional club with a rich footballing history.
The Vision FC General Manager also highlighted the importance of supporters in making football exciting, although he expressed concerns about the conduct of some fans.
“Supporters make football enjoyable; however, some of them are like cobras,” he remarked.
Ramadan further challenged Hearts of Oak supporters to demonstrate greater commitment by turning up in large numbers for the club’s next match at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon.
He claimed that he had observed some Hearts of Oak supporters holding GH¢2 coins at the stadium entrance while seeking entry, and urged them to prove him wrong by attending the next game in their numbers.
He concluded by emphasising the importance of securing maximum points, insisting that “three points are more important than anything else” in football.
Amin Ramadan made these remarks during an interview with Paul Napoleon Agyeman, host of Scoreboard
