MR. EMMANUEL OSEI AMPONSAH HIGHLIGHTS JOHN BOADU'S EXPERIENCE IN NPP LEADERSHIP
Political Analyst Mr. Emmanuel Osei Amponsah has cited the political experience of former New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary John Boadu as an example of the complexities involved in managing the party's affairs. Speaking to Journalist Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi, Mr. Amponsah noted that Mr. Boadu had previously served as General Secretary during a period when the NPP won political power and later returned to opposition. He used this experience to emphasise that occupying a leadership position does not automatically guarantee electoral success. According to him, the new NPP executives must demonstrate what they intend to achieve and explain how their strategies will address the challenges confronting the party. Mr. Amponsah argued that the party's future should not be judged solely by the positions its executives occupy but by their ability to develop effective strategies, promote unity and communicate a convincing vision. He maintained that time would reveal the effectiveness of the new leadership and urged party members to assess their performance based on tangible results. Reported by: Nana Kwasi Enyan | ICAD TV
