MR. BENJAMIN TAKYI ADDO CLARIFIES MAHAMA'S POSITION ON PREACHING IN MOVING VEHICLES
Mr Benjamin Takyi Addo says President John Dramani Mahama’s position on preaching in commercial vehicles concerns vehicles in motion rather than those parked at stations.
Speaking in an interview with Journalist Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi, Mr Takyi Addo explained that, in his understanding, the President had not called for a complete ban on preaching in public transport.
He said the concern was about preaching when a vehicle was moving, distinguishing it from religious activities conducted while vehicles remained at their stations.
He suggested that the issue should be understood in the context of passenger safety and the circumstances under which preaching takes place.
