JOURNALIST NHYIRABA KWABENA ASIRIFI CRITICISES HON. MUTAKA OVER SECURITY RECRUITMENT

Journalist Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi has criticized Hon. Mutaka over concerns surrounding youth recruitment into Ghana's security agencies, arguing that young people who supported the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) and voted for it to win power deserve fair consideration. According to him, some of the youth who contributed to the party's electoral victory are disappointed with the recruitment process and expect the government to address their concerns. He urged the relevant authorities to ensure transparency, fairness and equal opportunities in recruitment into the security services, rather than allowing political affiliation to determine who benefits. Mr. Asirifi stressed that the government must pay attention to the expectations of young people who supported the party, warning that dissatisfaction over employment opportunities could affect their confidence in the administration.
