NPP PRIMARIES CONDUCTED PEACEFULLY, SAYS-MR. ANDREWS TETTEH SECURITY ANALYST
Security analyst Mr. Andrews Aseidu Tetteh appeared on ICAD TV Morning Show, Ghana Nti, with Nana Nhyiraba Kwabena Asrifi, to discuss the recent NPP primaries.
He explained that the primaries are delegate-driven elections, where delegates freely choose their preferred leaders. Mr. Tetteh emphasized that even if some claim a candidate cannot lead, “it is not necessarily true; delegates decide.”
He praised the process as peaceful, noting that contenders congratulated the winner, and highlighted that while security challenges exist, the party handled them reasonably well. He urged the party to prepare thoroughly for the general election and respect the law during internal processes.
