Hon. Frank Nkansah, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Ablekuma Central Municipal Assembly, says he is confident that Ghana will witness a reduction in corruption under the current administration due to measures being implemented by the government. Hon. Nkansah, who was nominated by President John Dramani Mahama in April 2025, is known for his work as a youth advocate and long-time community organizer within the Ablekuma Central constituency. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Nana Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi on the Ghana Nti Morning Show, the MCE stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government has made significant progress since assuming office, particularly in efforts aimed at stabilizing Ghana's economy. Addressing the issue of corruption, Hon. Nkansah expressed optimism about the government's anti-corruption agenda. «"I would be very surprised if Ghana becomes more corrupt after this government because we are putting measures in place to limit the rate of corruption in the country," he said.» He also expressed confidence in the NDC's future electoral prospects, stating that he believes the party will retain power beyond the 2028 general elections. «"The next government coming in 2028 is the NDC, and even in the subsequent years, because all the NPP members would become NDC's," he stated.» His comments reflect his personal political views and expectations regarding the government's performance and the country's political future.
