HON. OSEI BONSU (AKA ATO) URGES DRIVERS, PASSENGERS, AND CAR OWNERS TO ATTEND ROAD SAFETY CAMPAIGN IN KWAHU SOUTH.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Kwahu South, Hon. Osei Bonsu (Aka Ato), has called on drivers, passengers, and car owners to actively participate in the upcoming road safety campaign scheduled for 1 April at the Mpraeso Lorry Station.
Hon. Osei Bonsu stressed that road accidents often happen due to a lack of caution and proper education. He highlighted that passengers also have a role in promoting safety by correcting drivers when they engage in risky behaviour.
The campaign, organized in collaboration with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) and ICADTV, aims to educate road users on safe driving practices, traffic regulations, and accident prevention.
“I urge drivers, passengers, and car owners to attend this programme so we can all learn how to prevent accidents,” Hon. Osei Bonsu said. “I will fully support the road safety campaign team to continue this important work.”
He encouraged the community to take advantage of the campaign, especially during the Easter festivities when road travel increases, and the risk of accidents is higher. The MCE called on everyone in Kwahu South to participate and help make the roads safer for all.
